PHOTO RELEASE: Reps. Terry Nealey and Maureen Walsh visit Prosser Record-Bulletin

Rep. Terry Nealey and Rep. Maureen Walsh stopped by the Prosser Record-Bulletin on Thursday to reflect on the 2016 regular session in Olympia, which finished on March 10, and to discuss the special session in progress.

Nealey, R-Dayton, and Walsh, R-Walla Walla, discussed numerous accomplishments of the regular session, including passage of a bill that would preserve charter schools, legislation that would help parents of children with disabilities connect with other parents with similar experience, and some tax reform measures.

Lawmakers are waiting to be called back to Olympia once budget negotiators from the House and Senate reach agreement on a supplemental operating budget.
