Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I invite you to read my newsletter review of the 2012 sessions here. Though we had three special sessions in the last seven months, Republicans led the charge for reforms and took a seat at the negotiating table, resulting in a much better budget than the original proposals put forward by the governor and the majority party. The newsletter also highlights capital budget projects secured this year, proposals I sponsored, and bills of interest to our agriculture community.
Though the Legislature concluded April 11, I am your representative all year. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns. It’s my pleasure to help constituents navigate state government and to bring different groups together to work toward solutions.
If you are involved in community groups or planning public events, please contact my office to see if I am available to attend. Though I own a small business, it’s important for me to hear from you and stay in touch with our communities. Due to election year restrictions, this will be my last e-mail update to you until December. I hope you’ll continue to call, e-mail or stop by my district office in Pasco or Walla Walla that I share with Rep. Terry Nealey.
It’s an honor to serve you.
Sincerely,

Maureen Walsh
