Walsh, Nealey to open Pasco district office in 16th District

Reps. Maureen Walsh and Terry Nealey are opening a second district office in Pasco, the west end of the 16th District. They are also keeping an office open in Walla Walla.

Walsh’s legislative assistant, Marge Plumage, will staff the Pasco office after the special session has adjourned. It will be located next to the Red Lion Hotel near the Tri-Cities airport at 2815 St. Andrews Loop — Pasco, WA  99301. Constituents can call (509) 543-3325 to reach that office.

Nealey’s legislative assistant, Meagan Allen, is now staffing the downtown Walla Walla office,  which is located at 26 East Main — Walla Walla, WA 99362. Constituents may call (509) 526-6284 to reach that office. Allen will also be in the Pasco office on Fridays.

Both legislators can be contacted at either office.

“We felt it was important to be more available to constituents across the district, and that includes the Tri-Cities area,” said Walsh, R-Walla Walla. “It’s important for us to serve our large district by hearing from and getting to know more of the people we represent.”

“I’m looking forward to reaching out to our Benton and Franklin county constituents,” said Nealey, R-Dayton. “As a resident of Columbia County and Maureen living in Walla Walla County, the Pasco office will ensure we are accessible in each of the counties we represent in our district. Also, by sharing office space, we are providing a cost savings to taxpayers.”

The governor called the Legislature into special session beginning March 15. The constitution allows for a special session to last up to 30 days.
